These terms cover your use of ShelfHelp — the website at shelfhelp.net, the dashboard, and anything else we run. Creating an account means you agree to them. They’re written to be read, not to be impressive, so if something here seems unfair or unclear, email me and say so.
ShelfHelp is a dashboard for e-commerce sellers. It reads data from the stores you connect and shows you what you’re actually making, flags products that are broken or disconnected, and on paid plans gives you buttons to fix things. It is a tool for looking at and changing your own store. It is not accounting software, tax advice, or business advice, and you shouldn’t file anything based only on what it shows you.
You need to be at least 16 to have an account, and old enough to enter a contract where you live. One person or business per account. Keep your password and passkeys to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you, so tell me immediately if you think someone else has got in.
Give a real email address. It’s how you reset a password and how I reach you about your account, and if it’s wrong there may be no way to get you back in.
The dashboard is useless without access to your store, so you’ll connect one or more platforms (Shopify, Etsy and others as they’re supported). By connecting a store you confirm you’re allowed to grant that access.
That access is used to run the service you signed up for — reading orders, products and costs to build your numbers, and making the specific changes you click. Nothing is changed in your store unless you trigger it. You can disconnect at any time from your own platform’s settings, and I’ll delete the stored credentials on request. Everything happens inside each platform’s official API rules and rate limits.
I’ll keep this running and fix things quickly when they break. What I can’t promise is that it never goes down, that the numbers are perfect, or that using it makes you money. The figures come from your platforms’ own data and are only as good as what’s in there — if your product costs are wrong in Printify, your margins will be wrong here.
If a platform changes its API and something stops working, I’ll fix it as fast as I can and credit any significant downtime. Take the dashboard as a very good assistant, not as the final word before a big decision.
Free is free, with no card. Pro is $149 per month, billed automatically each month through Stripe until you cancel. Card details go straight to Stripe — I never see them. Prices can change, but not without telling you first, and never mid-cycle.
Introductory discounts apply once unless the offer says otherwise; after that the normal price starts. Cancel any time from your account or by emailing me. Cancelling stops the next charge and your dashboard keeps working until the period you’ve already paid for runs out. I don’t automatically refund partial months, but if something went genuinely wrong, ask — I’d rather sort it out than argue.
Don’t connect stores you don’t control, try to reach other people’s data, break or overload the service, scrape it, resell access, or use it for anything illegal. I can suspend or close an account that’s doing any of that, and I’ll tell you why unless I’m not allowed to.
You can close your account whenever you like. I can close or suspend yours for a breach of these terms, or if I stop running ShelfHelp — in which case I’ll give you reasonable notice and refund anything you’ve paid for time you won’t get. When an account closes, its data gets deleted; see the Privacy Policy for how long that takes.
ShelfHelp is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or knock-on losses from using it or from it being unavailable, and total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits anything that legally can’t be limited.
These terms will change as ShelfHelp grows. For anything significant I’ll email account holders before it takes effect. Carrying on using the service after that means you accept the new version; if you don’t, cancel.
